Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and support NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise services for digital twin and simulation engineering.
- Own Nucleus environments, authentication, access patterns, workspace organization, connectivity, monitoring, backup, and operational health.
- Develop USD asset pipelines for ingestion, conversion, validation, versioning, publishing, composition, and distribution.
- Build Omniverse Kit extensions, services, utilities, connectors, and automation using Python, C++, and supported SDKs.
- Develop deployment and execution patterns for Isaac Sim, Omniverse applications, headless workloads, containers, and shared GPU environments.
- Integrate Omniverse with CAD, PLM, asset repositories, scenario systems, simulation services, robotics frameworks, data sources, and visualization tools.
- Support Omniverse Farm and distributed rendering and simulation workflows, including scheduling, monitoring, results, and failure handling.
- Define reusable templates, APIs, SDKs, configuration patterns, and developer standards for Omniverse solutions.
- Implement automated build, test, packaging, artifact, deployment, and release workflows for extensions and platform components.
- Partner with rendering, digital twin, robotics, scenario framework, infrastructure, and QA teams to deliver integrated simulation capabilities.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, security, observability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across USD composition, assets, extensions, networking, GPU environments, and platform services.
- Document architecture, deployment patterns, development standards, interfaces, and support procedures.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Nucleus, Universal Scene Description (USD), Kit, or related platform capabilities.
- Experience developing software in Python and C++, including reusable libraries, extensions, APIs, tools, and automation.
- Knowledge of USD composition, layers, references, variants, schemas, asset resolution, validation, and publishing workflows.
- Experience with Isaac Sim deployment, headless execution, containers, Omniverse Farm, GPU environments, or distributed workloads is preferred.
- Experience integrating Omniverse with CAD, PLM, rendering, robotics, simulation, or enterprise data systems.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational support.
- Understanding of computer graphics, physically based rendering, PhysX, simulation assets, sensors, and digital twin workloads is preferred.
- Experience creating developer tooling, SDKs, templates, connectors, and automated validation for asset and platform workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, extensions, assets, platform services, networks, and GPU infrastructure.
- Ability to collaborate with digital twin, robotics, rendering, platform, QA, and enterprise engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Typically 5+ years of software or simulation platform experience, with direct Omniverse and USD experience strongly preferred.
