Base Salary
$102k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise AI applications, agentic workflows, RAG solutions, and model-powered APIs.
- Serve as the primary technical contributor and technical leader for an AI delivery squad.
- Build reusable AI Factory shared services, engineering frameworks, implementation patterns, and platform components.
- Develop AI quality engineering capabilities including automated testing, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, structured outputs, drift detection, and failure analysis.
- Implement AIOps and LLMOps capabilities including observability, telemetry, logging, monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and production support.
- Contribute to deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, release management, infrastructure automation, and secure operational processes.
- Evaluate technical designs, establish engineering standards, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with internal teams and external implementation partners.
- Support synthetic data initiatives and secure, compliant, auditable AI solutions in regulated healthcare environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with application architecture, API development, testing, source control, CI/CD, deployment automation, and modern software engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting production AI applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building enterprise-grade software solutions with modern development frameworks.
- Experience developing AI solutions with LLMs and platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or comparable technologies.
- Experience with cloud-native application development, containerization, infrastructure automation, observability, logging, monitoring, and enterprise production support.
- Knowledge of RAG, agentic AI, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and AI quality engineering.
- Experience with data governance, privacy, security, and compliance in regulated environments, preferably healthcare.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
