Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable full-stack code for critical enterprise product features.
- Participate in system and solution design, technical trade-offs, implementation planning, and architecture discussions.
- Build and integrate web applications, APIs, integrations, cloud-native services, and AI-powered capabilities.
- Implement AI application patterns including prompt orchestration, RAG, grounding, structured outputs, tool or function calling, and quality and safety guardrails.
- Improve code quality through reviews, engineering standards, automated testing, and secure development practices.
- Support build pipelines, CI/CD workflows, automated testing, release readiness, observability, and operational excellence.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application, system, and AI feature performance, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Document technical designs, implementation decisions, and operational considerations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to reusable assets, automation, refactoring, estimates, proposals, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience building enterprise-grade full-stack applications and owning complex engineering workstreams from design through delivery.
- Strong expertise with a modern front-end framework such as React and with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong back-end experience with Python stacks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask, or Node.js stacks such as Express or NestJS.
- Understanding of system design, design patterns, API design, scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and distributed application architecture.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB, including schema design and query tuning.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and implementing integrations across services and external systems.
- Experience with responsive web design, reusable component architecture, accessibility, and front-end performance optimization.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, PyTest, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including deployment, configuration, observability, and cloud-native support.
- Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of DevOps and secure SDLC practices, including CI/CD, source control, code reviews, build automation, and release controls.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and building AI features using prompt design, structured outputs, tool or function calling, RAG, vector search, grounding, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional delivery skills.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering standards and reusable assets.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile delivery experience, performance tuning, observability, logging, monitoring, caching, reliability practices, technical proposals, client workshops, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, vector databases, model gateways, LLMOps, MLOps, agentic workflows, recommendation systems, or enterprise GenAI solutions.
