Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of customer-facing features within the technical stack.
- Iterate on existing and new features to improve user experience and performance.
- Contribute to software architecture, engineering best practices, and adoption of new technologies.
- Improve the maturity of the technical stack through engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers.
- Write hands-on code, remove technical roadblocks, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with Product, Growth, Marketing, Customer Experience, and other teams in an agile process.
- Support uptime improvements and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Contribute to product strategy, define OKRs, chart the roadmap, and communicate status, risks, and strategy to senior management.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with ReactJS, Kotlin or Java, GraphQL, and MySQL.
- Experience designing and building cloud architecture, backend and middle-end systems, and web applications.
- Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and end-to-end tests.
- Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
- Ability to interact with and build backend REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Ability to leverage generative AI to improve output quality and speed.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and other DevOps tools or cloud platforms.
- Preferred: experience with React Native.
- Food technology sector experience is a plus.
