Responsibilities
- Own the audit review queue and self-serve audit-check configuration surface end to end.
- Build high-scale interfaces supporting filtering, triage, pagination, virtualisation, server-side filtering, preview, and versioning.
- Develop Django endpoints, API contracts, data contracts, and pagination behavior.
- Design explainable and auditable interfaces for incorrect-charge detection and customer disputes.
- Shape agentic audit workflows, human review points, and safety guardrails.
- Partner with the Product Lead and serve as the squad’s second technical voice on product and technical direction.
- Mentor the junior engineer and raise engineering quality through code review, pairing, and direct feedback.
- Drive the audit product surface from feature-driven engineering toward agent-led product architecture.
Requirements
- Approximately five to eight years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Deep experience with React, TypeScript, state management, interaction design, and performant interfaces at scale.
- Full-stack capability with Python/Django development and the ability to design and evaluate API contracts.
- Experience owning a product surface end to end and resolving ambiguous product and technical questions independently.
- Knowledge of pagination, virtualisation, server-side filtering, and data-volume-driven interface design.
- Experience building human-in-the-loop and explainability interfaces with auditability as a product feature.
- Strong collaboration, code review, pairing, feedback, and mentoring skills.
- Practical experience using AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude and evaluating agent-generated output critically.
- Nice-to-have experience with design-system ownership, Django REST, BigQuery, dbt, Cube Cloud, GCP, LLM agents, RAG, production evals, agentic automation, simulation, or logistics and finance-adjacent domains.
