Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools.
- Design and expand test automation frameworks to support unique team requirements.
- Verify application usability, functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Establish automation and performance-monitoring processes.
- Develop and deliver test solutions for client projects with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve automation challenges and performance test failures.
- Promote automation, testing, and quality-engineering best practices.
- Support and develop other team members while keeping current with testing standards and advances.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with scripting and programming languages such as JavaScript and Java.
- Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- In-depth understanding of QA processes and the software development life cycle.
- Experience with API testing, preferably using RestAssured or SoapUI.
- Experience implementing contract-testing solutions, including tools such as PACT.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline configuration and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience establishing and executing testing tools, environments, and data across testing stages.
- Experience collaborating with developers and QA teams to design and enhance automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for testing containerized microservices.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Understanding of microservices-based application testing and accessibility testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills.
- Current or previous Security Clearance (SC) is required.
