Responsibilities
- Test Prime Video features on TVs and set-top boxes.
- Execute manual tests on living-room devices.
- Design and develop test suites for validating Prime Video features.
- Build, maintain, and fix manual and automated tests based on test results.
- Collaborate with TV and set-top box manufacturers during testing and certification.
- Help maintain the quality of the Prime Video device certification process.
- Manage and monitor device software to identify regressions after certification.
- Use AI to improve the speed and quality of testing.
Requirements
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Experience with penetration testing and exploitability-focused vulnerability assessment.
- Experience with platform-level security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows.
- Professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Experience building test automation frameworks and tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of system architecture, scalability, reliability, performance, and database environments.
- Preferred: experience securing service-oriented architectures and web services.
- Preferred: experience with device technologies, firmware flashing, device debugging, device logs, REST web services, XML, or JSON.
