Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software applications primarily using Golang.
- Lead the technical design and architecture of complex software systems aligned with enterprise data architecture principles.
- Collaborate with product, data science, operations, and other cross-functional teams to define and deliver solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Drive group problem-solving initiatives and implement sustainable solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure software maintainability, reliability, security, and quality.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Champion continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing practices.
- Contribute to SAFe practices, technical roadmaps, and long-term architectural vision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Typically 8+ years of software development experience with significant Golang experience.
- Expertise designing and implementing scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture principles and patterns.
- Ability to provide cross-functional leadership, influence technical decisions, and drive consensus.
- Expert-level Golang coding skills, including concurrency, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with SAFe or similar agile scaling frameworks.
- Understanding of Git, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices.
- Strategic leadership experience contributing to technical roadmaps and architectural vision.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and continuous-learning skills.
