Base Salary
$112k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build alerts and automated response playbooks to resolve security alerts.
- Collaborate with system owners to ingest new log feeds for security monitoring.
- Develop automated testing to verify the effectiveness of detection methods.
- Create integrations between the SOAR tool and APIs.
- Participate in Incident Response, investigating issues to protect Upstart.
Requirements
- 1+ years in a Detection Engineering or Incident Response role.
- Assume breach mindset, pursuing all threads to completion.
- Strong ability to build robust log search queries.
- Intermediate proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong git skills, including rebasing.
