Responsibilities
- Influence and lead the Enterprise Security roadmap and priorities.
- Write documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security partners to implement security tools and policies.
- Assist Security Operations with investigations as a technical subject matter expert.
- Partner with engineering teams to triage and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Mentor Security team engineers in domain knowledge, tool skills, and communication.
- Build, operate, and maintain core security infrastructure, automated alerting, response capabilities, and security workflows.
Requirements
- At least four years of relevant enterprise security experience with demonstrated impact.
- Deep expertise in enterprise security engineering best practices, particularly SASE tools such as Zscaler.
- Strong Python scripting skills, including building tools and automations.
- Experience building, integrating, and maintaining enterprise security tools.
- Ability to assess common security problems and independently judge their severity and business impact.
- Hands-on experience with Tines, AWS Lambda, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and Wiz.
- Experience delivering impactful work across multiple quarters and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Experience with zero trust, least privilege, just-in-time access management, identity lifecycle management, and data loss prevention is preferred.
- Experience building security programs with SaaS platforms such as CrowdStrike, Mimecast Incydr, and Splunk is preferred.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform is preferred.
- Must reside in the Pacific or Hawaii time zones.
