Responsibilities
- Provide influence and leadership over Samsara’s Enterprise Security roadmap and priorities.
- Write clear, concise documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
- Collaborate with partners across Engineering, IT, and Security to implement security tools and policies.
- Assist the Security Operations team during security investigations as a technical subject matter expert.
- Partner with engineering teams to triage and support remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Mentor engineers in the Security team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Security role.
- Deep expertise in enterprise security engineering best practices, especially SASE tools like Zscaler.
- Strong scripting skills with Python for building tools and automations.
- Experience in building, integrating, and maintaining enterprise security tools.
- Familiarity with common security problems and their business impact.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and common security platforms.
- Track record of delivering impactful work and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Must reside in the Pacific or Hawaii time zones.
