Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy new data pipelines.
- Design and build data observability platforms and metrics.
- Build metadata-driven pipeline solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data transformations.
- Build third-party data integrations.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to transform data into business insights.
- Work with DevOps to codify infrastructure as code and ensure platform scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of work experience in software engineering.
- Experience with one or more major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and methodologies.
- Experience with SQL-based and Python data manipulation using large datasets.
- Preferred: master's degree in a quantitative field.
- Preferred: AWS and Terraform experience.
- Preferred: experience designing ELT/ETL workflows.
- Preferred: programming experience in Python.
- Preferred: experience administering and tuning Snowflake.
