Responsibilities
- Build and enhance full-stack services across user interfaces, backend services, and databases for Equities and Cross Asset Financing platforms.
- Deliver software through inception, development, testing, release, maintenance, and production support.
- Develop Java services deployed on Linux or cloud environments.
- Implement automated unit and integration testing and maintain test plans and records.
- Maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines within a DevOps product or service team.
- Support incident identification, diagnosis, and resolution while improving production resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineers to translate trading requirements into working software.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Cross Asset Financing, including Cash Prime Brokerage.
- Strong Java development experience building and supporting production-grade services.
- Hands-on experience with software deployed on Linux or cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Google Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Run.
- Experience working across backend services, user interfaces, and databases.
- Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and agile delivery.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and React.
- Practical understanding of security and regulatory considerations, including data privacy, consent, and data residency.
- Experience using relational databases in production systems and supporting the Cross Asset Financing business.
- Strong communication skills.
