Responsibilities
- Drive technical direction across the Observability team.
- Design, build, and maintain backend systems for SaaS and on-premise products.
- Guide teams in structuring technical domains and defining service boundaries.
- Collaborate with platform, product, and infrastructure teams for cohesive integration.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design sessions.
- Participate in deployment, monitoring, and on-call rotations.
- Translate roadmap goals into well-scoped engineering plans.
- Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven ability to decompose large projects into concrete plans.
- Demonstrated success in a tech lead capacity.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted development and software lifecycle tooling.
- Strong software architecture fundamentals.
- Experience deploying services in Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Go and building reliable backend services.
- Experience with observability and telemetry systems.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A track record of mentoring and growing engineers.
