Base Salary
$172k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, maintenance, and optimization of web applications and integrated software products.
- Translate customer requirements into software designs, architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and implementation plans.
- Lead software development lifecycle activities, including planning, reviews, customer meetings, research, and development projects.
- Debug and resolve software issues while supporting reliability, efficiency, user inquiries, troubleshooting, and feedback analysis.
- Develop and improve software processes, tools, performance metrics, and compliance with project and industry standards.
- Lead software project management, supplier management, and evaluation of team and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing software for complex systems, including distributed, multithreaded, or multiprocess applications.
- At least 5 years of Python experience.
- At least 5 years of front-end web programming experience with Angular 9/10+, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information U.S. security clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes leading software projects or individuals, software architecture and design patterns, relational databases, Docker, Kubernetes, testing, and systems engineering or software development for space-based or ground-based systems.
