Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support software applications for pricing and business capabilities.
- Deliver high-quality technical solutions that meet functional, performance, and security standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in planning, estimation, delivery activities, and team ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while supporting production stability and operational excellence.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Remediate application vulnerabilities and apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Improve team productivity, application performance, and customer outcomes through technical learning and innovation.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting software applications.
- Full-stack Java development experience.
- Familiarity with Node.js and Oracle databases.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and modern software development practices.
- Experience with source control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Preferred: experience developing enterprise applications in financial services or other regulated environments.
- Preferred: knowledge of cloud platforms, API development, and modern application architecture patterns.
- Preferred: experience with software security, vulnerability remediation, application resiliency, DevOps, automation, monitoring, and mission-critical production support.
