Base Salary
$125k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions that accelerate research workflows and enhance data analysis.
- Translate requirements into high-quality, performant code and collaborate with product managers, scientists, peers, and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain modern microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Own technical decisions and contribute to technical vision, engineering standards, shared codebases, tools, and processes.
- Uphold high standards in software engineering, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional problem solving.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience or equivalent knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Experience working in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Proficiency in React or similar frameworks.
- Experience with microservice architectures and API design.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps principles.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, flexibility, proactivity, and willingness to learn.
