Base Salary

$78k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team that streamlines the software development lifecycle from requirements through production monitoring.
  • Develop tools and processes that automate builds, testing, monitoring, and releases across environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and support enterprise cloud-native solutions on commercial cloud providers.
  • Containerize and orchestrate workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with application development teams and mentor employees.
  • Triage and resolve issues involving open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
  • Create and improve continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing tools and processes to advance DevSecOps maturity.
  • 10+ years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning.
  • 10+ years of experience with configuration management tools.
  • 10+ years of experience designing, automating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience integrating SAST, SCA, or image scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience collaborating with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and mentoring employees.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • Preferred experience with Maven, Gradle, NPM, ATO processes, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python, Bash, Go, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Preferred cloud or DevOps certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, CKA/CKAD, or Security+ Certification.
  • A master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
