Base Salary

$150k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide actionable recommendations to resolve performance issues and enhance system capabilities.
  • Lead requirements development efforts by gathering and refining functional and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements review sessions to define networking requirements for projects.
  • Develop Technology Assessment Plans and produce After Action Reports documenting methodologies and results.
  • Produce formal recommendations and executive briefings outlining findings and strategy.
  • Analyze technology changes impacting the DISN and provide design guidance for strategic planning.
  • Provide SME engineering services for STIG-compliant network and security architectures.
  • Support on-premises to Cloud migrations and coordinate with Cloud Service Providers.
  • Engineer and sustain Enterprise F5 Application Delivery Controllers for DoD applications.
  • Implement F5 break-and-inspect capabilities to meet Cloud security requirements.
  • Provide consultation and insights to team members on industry trends and opportunities.
  • Address ongoing questions about service deliverables and identify industry networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure certification required.
  • Preferred additional certifications include Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or higher.
  • This position requires a SECRET clearance with a Tier 5 investigation.
