Responsibilities
- Conduct cloud architecture reviews for application readiness, scalability, and compatibility with DSS Health Cloud.
- Evaluate applications in AWS GovCloud and identify technical gaps, remediation needs, and FedRAMP High compliance requirements.
- Develop migration strategies, remediation roadmaps, onboarding plans, and compliance documentation.
- Provide guidance on FHIR, HL7, API interoperability, multi-tenant architecture, Zero Trust, cloud-native design, and DevSecOps practices.
- Coordinate assessments with ISVs, government stakeholders, and DSS Health Cloud operations personnel.
- Complete required security, privacy, and FedRAMP training and travel occasionally as project needs require.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an accepted combination of education and experience.
- At least 8 years of cloud architecture experience with exposure to government or regulated cloud environments.
- Proficiency in AWS architecture and government enclave environments.
- Experience with cloud-native application design and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of multi-tenant architecture, Zero Trust principles, healthcare interoperability standards, and FedRAMP High controls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage concurrent assessments and deliverables.
- US citizenship, successful federal background check, and suitability for federal employment are required.
- Preferred qualifications include Kubernetes or ECS experience, DSS Health Cloud or similar platform experience, VA or DoD health IT knowledge, and AWS or cloud-related certifications.
