Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Operations, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business SMEs to design, develop, integrate, and test Data Product features.
- Manage the development and/or operation of significant aspects of data management and knowledge management systems.
- Identify shortcomings and implement improvements in IT security processes, systems, procedures, and business practices.
- Deliver small- and medium-scale projects or workstreams within established programme and change management plans.
- Evaluate complex solutions against business criteria and recommend approaches that meet customer and business needs.
- Coordinate medium- and long-term work schedules across multiple teams.
- Analyze data from a wide range of sources to identify themes, business impacts, emerging issues, and potential causes.
- Recommend changes to policies, processes, standards, and practices to improve operational support.
- Coach colleagues informally and support the team's formal development framework.
Requirements
- Experience managing or operating significant aspects of data management systems with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Ability to develop and deliver specialized products and services that meet customer needs.
- Ability to evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against business and operational criteria.
- Ability to analyze data from diverse sources and identify business impacts and related issues.
- Ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and deliver projects or workstreams.
- Ability to identify shortcomings and implement improvements to processes, systems, policies, standards, and practices.
- Ability to work with stakeholders, identify barriers, and recommend solutions.
- Ability to coach and support the development of others in an area of expertise.
