Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test data product features aligned with product roadmaps and customer needs.
  • Manage the development and/or operation of significant aspects of data management and knowledge management systems.
  • Deliver small- and medium-scale projects or workstreams within established programme and change-management plans.
  • Evaluate expertise-led solutions against business criteria and recommend appropriate approaches.
  • Coordinate medium- and long-term work schedules across multiple teams.
  • Analyze data from varied sources to identify key themes, business impacts, emerging issues, and potential causes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to IT security processes, operational support, policies, processes, standards, and practices.
  • Implement the team’s formal development framework and informally coach colleagues.

Requirements

  • Experience collaborating with Data Operations, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and business subject-matter experts on data products.
  • Ability to manage data management or knowledge management systems and deliver projects within established plans.
  • Ability to evaluate complex solutions, identify shortcomings, and recommend improvements based on business needs.
  • Ability to analyze information from diverse sources and identify impacts, stakeholders, barriers, and emerging issues.
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and develop plans for an area of responsibility.
  • Ability to support team development and coach others in an area of expertise.
