Responsibilities
- Lead definition of quality standards for internal systems including reliability, performance, and security.
- Partner with engineering teams to translate standards into service-level requirements.
- Own the compliance loop by defining measurement methods and driving remediation.
- Run structured quality reviews for internal services including design and readiness reviews.
- Define and maintain quality gates in CI/CD to enforce standards efficiently.
- Establish API quality standards for public APIs and platform adapters.
- Lead cross-team alignment by documenting standards and coaching teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in quality engineering, QA, SDET, or reliability-oriented roles.
- Strong ability to define and influence engineering standards adoption.
- Solid understanding of non-functional requirements like reliability and scalability.
- Strong technical background to review designs and understand system behavior.
- Experience with CI/CD and translating standards into automated checks.
- Experience testing and validating APIs including contract and integration testing.
- Strong ownership and organizational skills to coordinate across teams.
