Responsibilities
- Program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software.
- Develop secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements and design artifacts.
- Research and evaluate technical solution alternatives, technologies, and frameworks.
- Perform feasibility studies, logic designs, system flowcharting, input-output analysis, and cost and time analysis.
- Manage production incidents and participate in an on-call pager support rotation.
- Document software according to software development best practices and follow quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Collaborate with project teams, identify emerging issues, recommend solutions, and complete assigned tasks.
- Support the collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
- Contribute to standards, process improvements, and documentation updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the software engineering field.
- Thorough knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently under pressure with initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, relationship, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a matrix-based, diverse, and geographically distributed project team.
- Ability to follow information security policies and protect the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
