Responsibilities
- Design, build, deliver, and deploy software using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other engineers in a cross-functional team.
- Contribute to project milestones and continuous improvement within the team.
- Participate in technical direction discussions with peers.
- Develop enterprise-grade web applications and backend services across business areas.
Requirements
- Experience working in an Agile delivery team.
- Java development with Spring Boot.
- Frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience with enterprise-grade web applications or backend services.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL data stores and structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with messaging or streaming systems such as Kafka or AWS SQS.
- Experience with data visualisation tools or techniques.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation.
- Experience using Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and merge processes.
- Candidates must hold an active eDV clearance.
