Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee mobile application development across iOS and Android platforms.
- Define and enforce mobile architecture standards covering modularization, service abstraction, API integration, scalability, security, and performance.
- Lead migration from monolithic to service-oriented and n-tier architectures.
- Collaborate with platform owners, enterprise architects, security leads, product managers, and UX/UI designers.
- Mentor developers and tech leads and conduct code reviews.
- Drive adoption of new mobile technologies and frameworks.
- Monitor application performance, analytics, stability, and crash reports and implement optimizations.
- Support mobile payment, subscriptions, in-app purchases, billing compliance, and feature flagging integrations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, project execution, and post-release support.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and support Clean Harbors’ architectural modernization and .NET Core migration goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of mobile application development experience, including at least 3 years in an architectural role.
- Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, Java, and cross-platform frameworks such as .NET MAUI, React Native, or Flutter.
- Deep understanding of MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture patterns and RESTful API integration.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of mobile security best practices, performance optimization, and asynchronous programming using Coroutines, RxJava, Combine, and async/await.
- Experience with Azure, Oracle, Firebase, AWS Amplify, and Backendless.
- Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, payment gateways, app-store billing systems, and feature flagging tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills.
- Mobile development or cloud architecture certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect, are applicable.
