Base Salary
$90k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Audit manual application-lifecycle processes and design and implement automated solutions to eliminate operational toil.
- Develop and maintain configuration-management scripts using Ansible, Python, and PowerShell.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and maintain continuous-integration environments for rapid, risk-mitigated deployments.
- Build, configure, deploy, and test applications across multiple environments.
- Support the efficiency, availability, and configuration of the CRD Development SaaS platform.
- Adopt, customize, and implement DevOps policies and procedures.
- Install, configure, and test systems against technical and business requirements.
- Manage automated release processes for SaaS clients and simplify complex processes into reliable components.
- Own automation projects autonomously from identifying gaps through delivering solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, automation engineering, or systems engineering, preferably in financial services or banking.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, MIC/CIS, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Python or another object-oriented scripting technology.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, JFrog, and Git.
- Experience with web technologies, databases, server operating systems, servers, networks, job scheduling, monitoring software, clusters or high-availability systems, and disaster recovery or business continuity.
- Preferred experience with SQL, MS SQL, Oracle Server, PostgreSQL, servers, and networks.
- Understanding of infrastructure-as-a-service cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
- Knowledge of web technologies and ability to write REST APIs in Python using a web framework.
- Knowledge of network protocols including WINS, DNS, TCP/IP, WinRM, SSH, SFTP, and SMTP.
- Additional automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or RunDeck is advantageous.
- Understanding of financial application logic and the regulatory requirements of banking production environments.
