Responsibilities

  • Support development and implementation of flight software and guidance-and-control algorithms.
  • Implement, integrate, and test control algorithms in simulation, embedded, and hardware-integrated environments.
  • Assist with control-law development, tuning, and validation for vehicle stability and performance.
  • Develop software interfaces, messaging, and integrations between flight and mission subsystems.
  • Analyze test data, troubleshoot system behavior, and improve software and control performance.
  • Collaborate with software, GNC, avionics, and vehicle engineering teams to validate integrated systems.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Background in software development with GNC/controls exposure or in GNC/controls with software implementation experience.
  • Experience with C++, C, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar programming and engineering tools.
  • Familiarity with controls, dynamics, simulation, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration.
  • Hands-on experience through internships, coursework, research, or technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
