Responsibilities

  • Develop human-machine interaction software for flight-crew aircraft control and simulation.
  • Develop RF, Satcom, and networking communications software for ground and vehicle systems.
  • Collaborate with flight crew to assess cockpit software and hardware usability.
  • Collaborate with engineers to display and control hardware systems.
  • Participate in planning, design, implementation, review, testing, documentation, and user evaluation across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as at least a rising senior undergraduate or as a master's or Ph.D. student.
  • Pursuing Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related degree.
  • Experience with C or C++.
  • Experience with web applications and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Electron.
  • Knowledge of computer networking.
  • Aviation or simulation experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
