Responsibilities
- Develop human-machine interaction software for flight-crew aircraft control and simulation.
- Develop RF, Satcom, and networking communications software for ground and vehicle systems.
- Collaborate with flight crew to assess cockpit software and hardware usability.
- Collaborate with engineers to display and control hardware systems.
- Participate in planning, design, implementation, review, testing, documentation, and user evaluation across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as at least a rising senior undergraduate or as a master's or Ph.D. student.
- Pursuing Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related degree.
- Experience with C or C++.
- Experience with web applications and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Electron.
- Knowledge of computer networking.
- Aviation or simulation experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
