Responsibilities
- Own and build services and technology areas supporting mission-critical OCI Compute infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and maintain services with emphasis on security, resiliency, scale, performance, and operability.
- Create reusable diagnostic and remediation workflows that translate operational runbooks into reliable automation.
- Integrate automation with monitoring, incident-management, and infrastructure services for end-to-end issue resolution.
- Build safeguards such as validation, retries, recovery, and escalation into automated actions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, define mitigations, and identify automation opportunities using telemetry and incident patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related engineering field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
- Experience in system design, platform or reliability engineering, ML engineering, data engineering, or AIOps-oriented roles.
- Hands-on experience building ML- or LLM-based systems using Python, Java, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or modern LLM frameworks.
- Experience with at least one of Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
- Deep understanding of observability data, including logs, metrics, and traces, and experience with platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Experience designing and deploying RAG pipelines, embeddings, intent models, or operational chatbots.
- Experience architecting streaming or event-driven systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
- Familiarity with cloud-native systems, Kubernetes, microservices, and modern deployment patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
