Responsibilities
- Act as the in-house technical authority and own end-to-end Salesforce solution design across Sales Cloud, Account Engagement, Revenue Cloud/CPQ, and enterprise integrations.
- Set technical standards, architecture patterns, platform roadmap, system boundaries, data ownership, security, and governance for Salesforce.
- Design and build scalable solutions using Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and appropriate declarative or coded approaches.
- Architect Revenue Cloud/CPQ quote-to-order capabilities, including products, pricing, quoting, approvals, orders, assets, renewals, and amendments.
- Design and deliver REST API integrations using API-led and event-driven patterns, platform events, change data capture, error handling, retries, and monitoring.
- Lead data migration, data management, data quality, mapping, deduplication, reconciliation, and Data Loader activities.
- Translate business requirements and roadmaps into practical technical solutions while identifying risks and challenging assumptions.
- Represent Salesforce changes at the Change Advisory Board and own release management, environment strategy, and deployment governance.
- Act as the escalation and technical decision point for administrators, mentor junior team members, and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, standard and custom objects, relationships, record types, security, and sharing.
- Experience owning Salesforce solution design across Sales Cloud, Account Engagement, Revenue Cloud, and third-party or downstream systems.
- Hands-on experience with Account Engagement/Pardot or equivalent marketing automation platforms and Sales Cloud integration.
- Experience architecting Revenue Cloud/CPQ or equivalent quote-to-order capabilities.
- Proven ability to design and govern end-to-end lead-to-cash architecture across Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
- Strong practical Apex knowledge, including triggers, asynchronous processing, governor limits, testing, bulk-safe design, code review, and technical investigation.
- Experience building Salesforce Flow automations, including Screen, Record-Triggered, and Scheduled Flows.
- Confidence writing SOQL and SOSL queries, including relationship queries and aggregate functions.
- Experience designing REST API integrations and applying platform events, change data capture, error handling, retry logic, and operational monitoring.
- Experience with data migration, data management, data quality, mapping, deduplication, reconciliation, and Data Loader.
- Ability to understand Salesforce within broader enterprise architecture, including data ownership, master data, security, finance, and ERP impacts.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable architecture, manage stakeholders, identify risks, and deliver practical roadmaps.
- Desirable qualifications include CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Visualforce, Salesforce CLI, metadata-driven development, DevOps and release governance experience, Agentforce awareness, relevant Salesforce certifications, and experience in global organizations.
