Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy HL7 FHIR APIs and ASC X12 transactions, including Prior Authorization 278 and Claims 837/834, using C#/.NET.
- Design and manage MongoDB persistence for FHIR resources and Azure Blob Storage for documents, files, and payloads.
- Develop scalable cloud solutions using Azure Container Apps, Azure Function Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and API Management.
- Build secure and reliable payer interoperability, claims, and prior authorization data exchange pipelines.
- Use VS Code and GitHub Copilot for C# development, data mapping, test creation, and integration logic.
- Manage source code, branching, code reviews, and version control through GitHub.
- Automate application builds, testing, and deployments with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate healthcare integration requirements into maintainable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize interoperability services for performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Support secure secrets management with Azure Key Vault and API governance through API Management.
Requirements
- 6+ years of healthcare IT experience focused on payer integration, claims processing, prior authorization workflows, or health plan interoperability.
- Strong software development experience with C#/.NET.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Azure Blob Storage.
- Experience deploying workloads across Azure Container Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and API Management/APIM.
- Expertise with HL7 FHIR R4 and ASC X12 standards in payer data exchange use cases.
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining secure and compliant healthcare integration solutions.
- Proficiency with VS Code, GitHub Copilot, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in CI/CD-enabled environments and contributing to automated deployment pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving ability for complex healthcare data workflows.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders.
