Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture for cloud networking, including orchestration, provisioning, and security solutions.
  • Design system architectures for DPU and NIC technologies.
  • Build end-to-end solutions spanning application-level software through hardware.
  • Write clear, reliable architecture specifications.
  • Evaluate technologies and rapidly develop proof-of-concept prototypes for future products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with global software and hardware architects, R&D, product, solution, application, and field engineering teams.
  • Work with customers on advanced and future technologies and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • At least two years of experience as a software architect or system architect.
  • At least two years of software development experience.
  • Deep knowledge of C and Python.
  • Hands-on Linux development experience with Docker and container-based technologies.
  • Experience with cloud and data-center networking, networking protocols, and common network topologies.
  • Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work concurrently with multiple local and international groups.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Preferred experience includes networking and security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, and firewalls; operating systems and drivers; DPDK, OVS, OVN; Kubernetes components, subsystems, CRDs, Operators, system plugins, and CNI plugin development; and OpenStack, OpenShift, or cloud APIs.
