Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for digital products and services supporting Car Services and Industrial Operations.
- Build and maintain scalable digital products, platforms, and services across Polestar’s ecosystem.
- Write unit, integration, and other automated tests where applicable.
- Follow Polestar’s coding practices, industry standards, and architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Business Analysts, and Architecture & Analytics.
- Evaluate technical ideas and decisions to avoid inefficient solutions and align stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of programming and software engineering principles.
- More than 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience building global, high-performance, and scalable solutions.
- Ability to write effective unit, integration, and other automated tests.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working as a developer in a cross-functional agile team is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly process and analyze information.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon EventBridge, DynamoDB, React, Remix, and Athena SQL.
- Experience using version control systems such as GitHub.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
