Base Salary
$100k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to AI systems across model development, evaluation, production serving, and the broader ML lifecycle.
- Write, test, and maintain production-quality code for ML and LLM features and APIs.
- Build and operate evaluations that measure model quality and identify regressions.
- Support deployment and monitoring of ML systems on cloud infrastructure.
- Build internal platform tooling and paved paths that help the wider team ship AI systems faster and more safely.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and teammates while taking ownership of well-scoped work.
- Develop skills through code review, pairing, mentorship, and best-practice guidance.
Requirements
- Graduating in December 2026 or May 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience, including internships, research, substantial coursework, or personal projects in ML/AI or software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch and Hugging Face.
- Solid understanding of ML fundamentals and hands-on exposure to generative AI or transformer architectures.
- Foundational software engineering skills, including Git/GitHub and understanding how code is built and tested.
- Ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, take ownership of learning, and demonstrate enthusiasm for building AI systems.
- Preferred experience includes shipping software or ML features through internships, projects involving LLMs, RAG, or agentic systems, and exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Coursework or projects in NLP, deep learning, or distributed systems are preferred.
