Responsibilities
- Drive product quality and delivery through automation initiatives, particularly involving Generative AI.
- Define and execute quality automation strategy, testing priorities, release roadmaps, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams and Product Owners to establish requirements and propose efficient solutions.
- Build and use automated testing frameworks for APIs, applications, and backend data validation.
- Serve as a central point of contact for cross-functional communication and project alignment.
- Provide technical expertise, mentor developers and analysts, and establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Assess risks, support compliance with laws and regulations, and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
Requirements
- Require 4–8 years of experience in Applications Development, systems analysis, or a similar technology lead role.
- Require experience in product ownership, quality assurance, or a hybrid role in a technology-driven environment.
- Require financial-services experience, specifically in the Capital Markets domain.
- Require strong proficiency in core Java and experience with Python and Shell scripting.
- Require expertise with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and TestNG, plus hands-on experience with tools such as Rest-Assured, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Require experience with backend automation using Python for data validation and accuracy checks.
- Require experience with system analysis, software application programming, successful project management, SDLC, testing methodologies, and automation initiatives.
- Require leadership, communication, and subject matter expertise in at least one area of Applications Development.
- Preferred qualifications include Generative AI experience, familiarity with Copilot, and proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, and JUnit.
- Preferred qualifications include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability, strategic thinking, and Agile/Scrum experience.
