Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop core platforms and services for networking, agentic AI, distributed data processing, real-time analytics, and intelligent automation.
- Build scalable, secure, reliable, observable, adaptable, and safe systems for enterprise use cases.
- Process large volumes of real-time network and operational data to derive insights and support intelligent agents.
- Design and implement event-driven microservices, cloud infrastructure, and production systems for high-volume, high-velocity data.
- Develop generative AI and agentic capabilities including tool use, planning, memory, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and deployment.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across architecture and complex software initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of full software development lifecycle experience, including architecture, design, coding, reviews, testing, builds, deployment, and production operations.
- At least five years of programming experience with Python, Java, Go, C++, or another general-purpose programming language.
- At least three years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience designing high-volume, high-velocity data systems with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and operational reliability requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex, ambiguous, or undefined technical problems and turn them into production-ready solutions.
- A master’s degree or PhD in a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes generative AI or agentic systems, networking, network management, observability, telemetry, cloud infrastructure, distributed control-plane systems, Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or comparable technologies.
