Base Salary
$100k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end and integration test suites for complex systems.
- Build and improve testing infrastructure in collaboration with software development and Operations Engineering.
- Prioritize manual test cases for automation and develop AI-assisted testing processes.
- Translate project requirements into comprehensive test plans and automated test cases.
- Integrate test suites into pipelines and report testing status and performance metrics.
- Apply testing-pyramid practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Coordinate testing priorities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in testing practices and strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites for complex systems, particularly microservices and publish-subscribe architectures.
- Experience using AI to automate testing effectively and efficiently.
- Programming experience with one or more of C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Golang.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members in testing practices and strategies.
