Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure Windows applications, services, and web services using .NET technologies, C#, C++, WPF/XAML, ASP.NET MVC Web API, HTML/CSS, Python, and PowerShell.
- Design and implement scalable software components integrating across enterprise systems and mission-critical infrastructure.
- Automate system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and vulnerability mitigation tasks with PowerShell.
- Manage AWS and Azure cloud solutions using secure deployment and access-control practices.
- Perform network design and engineering involving TCP/IP, routing protocols, virtual networking, LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, VoIP, Cisco IOS, virtualization, and perimeter security.
- Use GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, and customer-specific tools including Secure Token Service and DataHound.
- Create requirements, design documentation, technical writing, security plans, test reports, authorization packages, and other A&A artifacts.
- Support containerized and orchestrated solutions across on-premises environments and remote cloud services.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, testing, and iterative delivery.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least six years of relevant experience.
- Experience with secure software development, secure coding standards, INFOSEC and COMSEC requirements, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP transport network design, routing, virtual networking, network operations and maintenance, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, VoIP, Cisco IOS, switching, routing, segment routing, virtualization, VDI, VMware, AWS, and Azure.
- Experience with firewalls, perimeter security, VPN technologies, continuous integration, test automation, SecDevOps, Agile development, IIS, requirements gathering, design documentation, and technical writing.
- CCNA or CCNP certification is requested.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, Vagrant, Maven, Jenkins, REST or SOAP APIs and web services, Perl, shell scripting, or similar technologies.
- Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.
