Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build security-focused technical solutions with attention to code quality, architecture, performance, reliability, and engineering standards.
- Drive detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence initiatives.
- Monitor, detect, respond to, and manage security incidents while protecting information system integrity and confidentiality.
- Investigate problems to their root causes and develop solutions using distributed systems, Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure.
- Help scale and build a world-class SOC and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Experience working with Windows, MacOS, or Linux in large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience or skills with Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to investigate problems to their root cause and perform threat hunting and data exploration.
- Nice-to-have experience with Python, Go, asynchronous message queues, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and participate in continuous improvement and on-call operations.
