Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end omnichannel commerce solutions across D2C web, retail/in-store POS, and marketplace channels.
- Define API-first, event-driven, modular, and cloud-native integration patterns with the Integration Architecture team.
- Support CRM architecture across Salesforce Service Cloud and SAP CRM to provide a unified customer view.
- Align architecture with SAP S/4 HANA for order-to-cash, inventory, and product/material master data flows.
- Support architecture for payments, subscription commerce, fraud prevention, marketplace, and CIAM/identity capabilities.
- Define and validate performance, scalability, security, resilience, and regulatory compliance requirements, including PCI-DSS and GDPR.
- Lead or contribute to discovery workshops, architecture review boards, and cross-market impact assessments.
- Produce architecture decision records, solution blueprints, and reusable design documentation.
- Mentor Technical Architects and senior engineers and lead design reviews within the Commerce Architecture pillar.
- Serve as a technical interface between Product, Engineering, Delivery, Platform teams, and business stakeholders across global markets.
- Contribute to technology evaluations, RFPs, and platform governance forums.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale commerce or omnichannel solutions.
- Deep hands-on expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, or Commercetools is a plus.
- CRM architecture experience, particularly Salesforce Service Cloud, is preferred; SAP CX, MS Dynamics, or ServiceNow experience is a plus.
- Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA integration patterns, PIM/PLM concepts, and omnichannel retail/POS systems.
- Experience with MuleSoft/API-led connectivity, event-driven design, and CIAM/identity patterns including ForgeRock, Okta, OAuth2, and SSO.
- Experience working in global matrix organizations and governing third-party systems integrators.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders and bridging business and engineering audiences.
- Track record of mentoring and developing Technical Architects and senior engineers.
- Relevant certifications are preferred, including SAP Commerce Cloud Developer/Architect, Salesforce Architect track, AWS or GCP Solutions Architect, and TOGAF.
