Responsibilities
- Develop automated tests using existing tools and frameworks and extend those frameworks as needed.
- Execute white-box, black-box, UI, API, and performance testing.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements, user stories, and complex data scenarios.
- Identify testing gaps and process flaws and implement improvements to increase product quality.
- Debug code to identify defect root causes and help design solutions.
- Contribute to DevOps work and improve team CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and support on-time releases.
- Participate in product demonstrations and collaborate with onshore and offshore teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience working in a software development environment.
- Ability to write automated test code and tools.
- Expertise with UI test automation tools such as Katalon or Cypress and API testing tools such as soapUI or RestAssured.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as Jmeter or K6.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Rspec, Fitness, or TestNG.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java, C#, or C++ and a scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible and Jenkins, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and distributed source code control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture, SOA best practices, Agile SDLC practices, and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Linux, and WebLogic application server is preferred.
- Healthcare domain experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
