Responsibilities
- Design and build distributed backend systems for AI-driven detection and response workflows.
- Develop scalable pipelines for real-time processing of video, audio, and sensor data.
- Architect event-driven systems for automated alerts and actions.
- Build infrastructure for deploying large video and audio models into production.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on new AI-powered features.
- Optimize systems for low latency and high availability across cloud and edge environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define intelligent safety systems.
- Establish best practices for observability and continuous deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with production systems.
- Strong experience in designing distributed systems and scalable APIs.
- Proven track record in building large-scale, data-intensive systems.
- Experience with real-time data pipelines and high-throughput systems.
- Familiarity with deploying machine learning models in video and audio domains.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Go and Python.
- Experience with databases and streaming systems such as Kafka and Postgres.
- Ability to quickly prototype and iterate in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong ownership mindset with experience delivering reliable systems.
