Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and assist with designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Use testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Testim, Mabl, and Applitools to expand test coverage and support AI-enhanced testing.
- Run regression, smoke, basic performance, visual, and test automation activities across supported platforms.
- Support CI/CD pipeline test execution, monitor automated test results, and maintain test scripts.
- Document test results, write detailed bug reports, and assist with basic root cause investigation.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps to understand functionality and confirm test coverage.
- Participate in training and team learning focused on automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and emerging AI/ML testing tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of QA engineering experience; internships or academic software testing projects are welcomed.
- Basic exposure to automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Introductory scripting or programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Willingness to learn cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Interest or experience in AI-powered QA tools and techniques, including visual testing or test generation.
- Basic awareness of security testing and compliance concepts.
