Responsibilities
- Build and maintain RAG pipelines and autonomous agent architectures using LangChain and SAS Viya.
- Ingest, process, and manage vectorized customer document data to improve retrieval accuracy, latency, and agent integrations.
- Develop and integrate Model Context Protocol servers and clients for LLM-driven agents.
- Implement LLM defensive frameworks, operational guardrails, safety layers, and content filtering.
- Create validation and evaluation frameworks to measure generative AI performance and output quality.
- Own the software lifecycle from requirements translation through development, functional/unit/performance testing, code review, and post-deployment support.
- Deploy and manage production containerized cloud workloads and collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum two years of software development experience.
- Production-level Python experience with object-oriented design patterns, memory optimization, and asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience building stateful applications with LangChain or similar orchestration tools.
- Experience developing and integrating MCP servers and clients in production environments.
- Experience deploying LLM-as-a-judge or empirical evaluation tools such as Ragas, TruLens, or MLflow.
- Experience creating, deploying, and managing containerized workloads using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub workflows, branching strategies, and code reviews.
- Experience with vector databases, embeddings, document parsing, cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, and LLM safety or content-filtering layers is preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the stated qualifications.
