Responsibilities
- Write reliable, well-tested backend code using Java and SQL.
- Design scalable and repeatable backend systems and processes for the EVAAS web application.
- Collaborate across design, implementation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of the web application and supporting backend systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 2–5 years of professional full-time experience, including at least two years with Java programming, web-based application development and delivery, and relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Spring Framework, Maven, Project Object Model (POM), static or interactive code scanning tools, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, and GitHub.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.
