Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance distributed microservices and enterprise payment-processing applications.
- Architect scalable enterprise applications and microservices-based systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop RESTful and SOAP APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka, JMS, and MQ.
- Optimize database performance through data modeling, queries, stored procedures, and functions across Oracle and Postgres environments.
- Implement application security, API authentication, authorization, identity, and single sign-on capabilities using Spring Security.
- Support migration and deployment of application components to cloud-based environments.
- Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, test-driven development, and code reviews.
- Use version control, build, CI/CD, code-quality, containerization, deployment, monitoring, and observability tools.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience architecting, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications and scalable microservices-based systems.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, RESTful and SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, Kafka, JMS, and MQ.
- Experience with Oracle, Postgres, PL/SQL, database performance optimization, data modeling, queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Experience with Spring Security, secure API authentication and authorization, enterprise identity, and single sign-on.
- Experience with unit and integration testing, code reviews, vulnerability remediation, and software development lifecycle security practices.
- Experience with cloud-based deployment, Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Splunk.
