Base Salary
$125k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Accounting technology applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, ReactJS, SQL, and related technologies.
- Build and maintain APIs, microservices, distributed applications, and data-processing solutions using Spark, Hadoop, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams on requirements, architecture, and solution delivery.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes to improve stability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy and support applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Lead by example through hands-on engineering, code reviews, technical problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and technical decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Extensive hands-on experience building enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, ReactJS, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines for scalable applications.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and Agile software development experience.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
- Preferred: experience in Accounting, Finance, or Banking technology; Google Cloud Platform; event-driven architectures and messaging platforms; and business-critical production applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
