Base Salary
$125k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications in the Accounting technology domain.
- Build and enhance APIs, microservices, distributed applications, and data-processing solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams on requirements and solution architecture.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy and support applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Drive code reviews, testing, performance optimization, reliability improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Share technical knowledge, help unblock team members, and contribute hands-on technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience building enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, ReactJS, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and similar database technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
- Accounting, Finance, or Banking technology experience is preferred.
- Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based application development experience are preferred.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and business-critical production applications is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
