Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical and consultative leadership for complex technical matters.
- Analyze, design, and develop systems based on identified user specifications.
- Solve complex data, hardware, software, process, systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform problems.
- Identify technical opportunities and risks and drive their resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of Huntington’s technical environment, system interconnections, and relevant industry trends.
- Coach and mentor members of the direct team.
- Serve as project leader for highly complex and strategic projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience in software development.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience using object-oriented programming.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot or microservice architecture.
- Preferred: experience working in multi-cloud environments, including AWS and GCP.
- Preferred: technical knowledge of the ETL/ELT lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect teams toward common goals.
