Base Salary
$87k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and full-stack applications for Visa Corporate Finance.
- Build and support automation tools, platform capabilities, and internal systems for finance processes and users.
- Write scalable, maintainable code and participate in testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
- Partner with Corporate Finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Improve the reliability, performance, observability, controls, and operational efficiency of finance applications and supporting systems.
- Contribute to architecture decisions involving scalability, integrations, data flows, and system behavior.
- Troubleshoot application and system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and help resolve production incidents.
- Support cloud-native and distributed systems and document technical designs, integrations, implementation details, and system behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- One to two years of experience developing full-stack applications or backend services is preferred.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, HTML, CSS, Java, Python, Node.js, or Spring Boot is preferred.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and hands-on SQL experience, particularly in corporate or enterprise finance applications, is a plus.
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, responsible AI practices, and AI-assisted development tools is preferred.
- Basic experience integrating AI capabilities through APIs, SDKs, or cloud-based services is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud-native concepts is preferred.
- Familiarity with automation, infrastructure, platform engineering, Git, containerization, developer tools, reliability, monitoring, and distributed-system debugging is preferred.
- Experience analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, modifying, testing, and documenting computer applications is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with users or business stakeholders to gather requirements and supporting installation and maintenance procedures is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
