Base Salary
$100k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop quality software for AI systems operating in real-world production environments.
- Monitor AI model performance, manage model drift, and support long-term system reliability.
- Contribute to cloud-neutral, everything-as-code systems using event-driven and microservices architecture.
- Optimize, deploy, and refine AI models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with an experienced engineering team while taking ownership of meaningful product and technical work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or completion of a software development boot camp with 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in Python, Go, or another general-purpose programming language.
- Knowledge of standard tooling including CI/CD tools and Git, with exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational database design and architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture concepts and strong problem-solving skills.
- US citizenship and eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a US security clearance at the Secret level or above.
- Preferred qualifications include personal, academic, or open-source software projects; experience with Go or Python beyond introductory work; concurrency; PyTorch or TensorFlow; RESTful, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs; distributed computing; NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ; SQL and PostgreSQL; workflow automation; and an active Secret-or-higher clearance.
